STEM Merit Badge College

The STEM Merit Badge College is the signature STEM event for the Old North State Council. It was first held on November 23, 2013 and had 203 Boy Scouts participating in nine merit badge classes. It has been held each year since and in 2015, peaked at 400 participants. The event has grown to 18 merit badge classes, the Unit STEM Coordinator training for adults, and the Webelos Science Adventure class. It was the first STEM event in the Old North State Council and has a history of filling up before the Early Bird deadline each year. The event has been the foundation of a relationship with North Carolina A&T State University as the host site.

The date for the 2017 STEM Merit Badge College is being determined and will be posted soon.
