“Unit STEM Coordinator Training”

“Unit STEM Coordinator Training” is a two hour course for volunteers in Cub Scout packs, Boy Scout troops, and Venture crews who are interested in implementing the Nova and Supernova award programs in their unit. Those completing this training will be prepared to either serve as Nova Counselors for their Scouts or simply as facilitators of STEM activities in their unit. Participants will learn about the Nova and Supernova Awards, practice some simple STEM activities, and learn about resources they can draw upon. Participants will also receive the “Unit STEM Coordinator” position patch below for their uniform.
